And the award for craziest party animals goes to … Frieke and Joris. Most people do one wedding and call it a day, not those two. They’re the kind of couple that go hard, in the best kinda way and after their dreamy italian wedding, they were not done yet. Insert round two: the civil wedding in Antwerp.

We kicked things off in the heart of the city at the jaw-droppingly eclectic Hotel Flora. It’s one of those places that feels like stepping into a Wes Anderson film, maybe cooler. The perfect balance between maximalism and style and the perfect getting ready spot for two people who know how to do things with flair.

From there we walked to city hall in Antwerp where they tied the knot, officially. To celebrate Mr. and Mrs. we did the first toasts at Tram3, a cool little café in the city with some streetart vibes. Of course we snuck away for a little photo session. Antwerp always delivers, but these two brought the color. We leaned into the bold, the fun and the slightly unexpected. Because with them? It just works.

And then … the grand finale: Les Jardins Antwerp. This place is a dream. Classy AF on the outside, think lush gardens, elegant tables, soft lighting and when you step inside: BOOM, 80’s nightclub vibes. It’s really the best of both worlds.

Drinks flowed, dinner was a gastronomic highlight and we danced the night away. These two, surrounded by their people, tearing up the dance floor like they had nothing left to lose. They went all in from the first minute till the sunrise.

Frieke & Joris, you’re not just lovers, you’re legit rockstars. Thank you for letting me tag along for this second chapter. I’ll be recovering from your energy for weeks (in the best kinda way).
